New oak wood floor turning black

Hi, need some advice here. My new oakwood floor is turning black … starting from edges of the plank. They have been installed barely a few months. Anyone knows whats happening and how to fix this?

Moisture. Either too much water when cleaning or a leak.

Are you using a cleaning product with ammonia in it? Or have a pet peeing on it?

It started to blacken even before we cleaned it. This is in our new house which we havent move into. anyway to reverse this?

Water is getting in and getting into the joints between the wood. You need to find the source of water first. Is that a drapery behind the wood? Is there a window there that was left open recently?

Check your walls there, if that's a window. You may also see swelling there on the drywall. Usually incorrect flashing.
