Well first the doors are the pricey part of cabinets so will be expensive If you post a pic of your kitchen so we can see your cabinets now that would be helpful. I know vey few contractors who are cabinet makers so I would need to see some of his work installed . Adding drawers behid doors is a PITA so yes the interoir of the cainets you want to change to drawers will be pricey. So for the material for the doors if you went therma foil how would the frames of the cabinets be finished . I think the only time refacing makes sense is if you love everything about your kitchen except the cabinet doors and in my experince that happens rarely.
