Help! I have finally purchased my dream chairs for my dining room and I am stuck on the table (style and color - I am thinking black?) and if I should paint the chairs and what color fabric for the cushions. Any thoughts here are appreciated! I am not a designer and I really need advice. I welcome thoughts on rug choice and window treatments as well!

Hi Jennifer, I think a brown table top with white legs works beautifully with your existing wall colors and chairs !

For window treatment and rugs a solid brown with texture could work.

Thanks, David! I should paint the chairs the same white as the wainscoting? Right now, they are a bit more blue white and the walls are more creme white.

No Problem Jennifer, I would furnish your entire room first before painting the chairs since it might not be as noticeable and it's a lot of work for what its worth !

Perhaps you can add an accent color of your choice to create more interest than just brown and white :)

I have been thinking about using a great blue as we have blue in some form in every other room.

Leave the chairs white, and use a simple rectangular glass top table with a chrome pedestal table base.

Hi - The wall stencil is from Benjamin Moore. I bought it on their website. I used a platinum paint over a chocolate brown base and I have to say - I love it!
