Does that little cabinet need to stay where it is?

Wall decor, throws, pillows are where all my color is. Your wall art is too close to the wall color. Art.com has a lot of selection. I buy the print and have it framed in plexiglass locally. I would certainly remove the key hook plate, and possibly the calendars, and then move some of the more neutral and quiet framed works on the couch-wall over to that spot and play with a re-arrangement. To anchor the corner of sofa, I'd put this below or something colorful like it where your framed works are now

In general you don't want to draw attention to that hallway wall, but divert attention from it. If you can, remove the wood box undeneath, or at least the wood, and minimize the impact.

@sammie J, Nothing on that wall needs to stay where it is (other than vents etc.)

Paint it a different color and your art is hung too high and I honestly never like collage art I certainly would not wat to see a cord for a sconce on that wall. I need to see the rest of the space too . I think the terra cotta form the pillow would be a great wall color for just that piece .

like the wall sconce idea in hall but best to look for a battery vs a plugin. I agree on removing the utilitarian items.

Good idea about battery operated -- or I guess rechargeable. I'm behind the times. Plugs are indeed unsighltly if you don't secure them to the wall -- and some won't even accept that, so cord-free is the way to go (but not those round ones you clap to turn on!)
