Fading baseboards and Molding

Our house was built in 2005, previous owners decided to cheap out and get the standard base builder oak. It's pretty crummy. Being what it is, I usually wash it about every 6 months with Murphy Oil Soap, but over the years it's starting to fade and look like it needs a coat of something. Any sage advice welcome. I hate the thought of a complete strip/refinish, but also don't inherently trust that Briwax is an answer, either. Anyone have any idea for me? Attached is an example, with some areas not as bad, others worse. Thanks.
