I think some tile there would be a good choice but always a good idea to check the cause of the cracks first. There are also some products that you apply to make concrete look like granite I think HD has it. Cute house take your time fixing it up . My first step would be a nice walkway from the street to the front stoop. I might also think down the road of adding a porch all across the front

Grind all that old nasty paint off, and let the concrete be concrete. Nothing sticks after a while due to hydrostatic pressure of the water through porous concrete. It will just push off paint over time.

Tile over cracked concrete generally results in cracked tile, so I wouldn’t recommend tiling the area.

If getting a concrete cobtractor is not in the budget, you might look into non-slip epoxy resin coatings. It’s a stop gap measure, but should last a few years.

I love the idea of getting that paint off , but unfortunately I’m not equipped with a grinder to take that on. I’ve have to make it look uniform with paint.

What about epoxy for the porch and stairs? I’ve applied this DIY kit to my garage before and it was easy. I would provide a durable surface??
