No reputable engineered hardwood should require "yearly maintenance".

That does not mean that you don't have to sweep up direct, wipe up any spills, and maybe occasionally lightly mop (not bathe!) your floors.

Thank you! in my research, those with oil finishes need to be coated yearly.

Saywer Mason has a product line with polyurethane finishes. We put in 8" planks for a client a few years back. Millwork and finish is good on it.

Mirage is well respected Canadian prefinished wood floor brand if you consider 7.5" boards are wide plank. Riva Spain is a strong brand with many 8 to 10" selections. Here is a 10" White Oak Crystal in select grade.
