Is the 2nd picture part of your room?

I would find two big pieces of art - one for each wall. You could do a gallery wall if you are feeling industrious, but I personally think large pieces work better. You could also put a console table behind one of the ells and put lamps on it and then a slightly smaller piece of art between the lamps. If you find some colorful pieces, you can pull out some of the colors from the art or photo and add pillows that highlight it. Do you have end tables? End tables and lamps add some nice ambiance. Lamp light is much nicer than overhead light.

This is the proportions I would look for -- 2/3 - 3/4 the length of the sofa (or this portion of the sectional).

Here is one with a gallery wall. Most of the pieces are on the mid-to-large side. I wouldn't do it with a bunch of small pieces. You want the art to be easy to see without leaning into the furniture. This is also about 2/3 the length of the side of the sectional.

I would just cover the outlet with a large piece of art. Even if you move it, I believe code requires you to keep a junction box there (with a blank cover).

No on squiggly art on both walls, unless you like the waiting room look.

Art and take thta mirror off the FP it is not reflecting anything worth seeing twice . The sofe looks modern the ladder not so much . Maybe post pics of the whole space . Post here in a comment DO NOT start another post. I will not suggest which art but if you go to Art.com there are 1000s of choices make sure they are large and IMO ideally the same size for each wall.

The mirror above the fireplace will reflect whatever I put on that wall as it is the wall opposite the fireplace that I need to fill with something, it is a small room so I’m trying to keep it simple and not overcrowd it.

Not at all. If it bothers that there will be empty wall at the end of the shorter sectional, fill that space. A floor lamp would work well.

I like that! I personally would do prints all within a theme…. Like botanicals, florals, birds….just examples. Or if their is an artist where you can get prints, you could frame different prints from that artist. I did this on my stairs. I’m a cat lover.

Try the ladder and see how that looks. Not behind it, but where you have the table/lamp. Might be better because it is taller. But, I like your sketches...good size.
