Help with kitchen light over Island

I moved into my house 8yrs ago and previous owner had this chandelier over the kitchen island. I kinda liked it then but a
I am tired of it now. I will be moving in 1 1/2yrs and think that a new light more modern would be worth changing.
Here are 2 photos of the kitchen with a small hearth room. There is a light over the kitchen table that needs updating as well.
