I find we do not use the stools by our outdoor kitchen hardly at ll so we removed them this year and not once did anyone ask . I find we cook so many different ways in our outdoor kitchen some of which is a bit smokey so maybe that is why . Do you do all the stuff in the eggs or do you still plan on a grill too. I actually only have a grillzebo over our kitchen and I will say it gets pretty grubby from smke so be awre of the covered kitchen it will require more up keep

I am debating on a 30” Le Griddle, it is the other grill that is built in. Exactly why we have the green egg in that location. We live by the coast in Texas so we predominately get South wind and the grills are on the north. What did you guys end up doing instead of the stools? Would storage be better. Just do not want to waste the space of the column width if that makes sense.

Just here to give two thumbs up to the double Egg set-up! I have two as well. :-)

It looks like you could easily put two chairs on the wall to the left of the door and have them face the cooking area. Then you could always turn the table long ways so you would have more room for a conversation area/fire pit area. Below are a few of the patio designs we have done for our clients.
