What do you think is wrong with it the way it is? What is it missing for you? I don't know what one more foot would gain you. Is this a new build?

Does the counter extend over the washer/dryer?

My W/D are set up like yours. I was able to change the dryer door swing but the washer swing is not adjustable so it doesn’t open the way I prefer.

A wide doorway is helpful for wheelchair access.

Is there space for a person in a wheelchair to roll up to/under the sink?

Are there cabinets? If yes, cabinet pulls are easier than knobs to grasp.

Do you have a spot for a hook or bar to hang laundry on hangers?

This is for a new build. A couple of things that may be problematic is reaching the windows to clean them and the corner cabinet next to the dryer may be bit of a dead end and hard to use. So was hoping to hear different layout ideas (not stacked appliances though) to maximize the use of the space. I feel like it is a smaller room and trying to get the best out of it.
