On the West Coast these are often called ”Appleblossom” pelargoniums. They seem to have passed out of fashion.

I don't know how a plant as beautiful as that geranium "pass out of fashion", but maybe that's why it's rare.

'Appleblossom' is a specific cultivar of rosebud geranium. Although they may be a tad out of favor or fashion now, a geranium/pelargonium specialty nursery - Geraniaceae - carries a number of cultivars including a red touched with pink one.
