Panel ready integrated Fridge Recs

We are seeking 36-42” options that won’t break the bank. My first choice is fisher and paykel 36” french door option at $5300 but my husband strongly dislikes the ”flap” panel between the doors that makes a flapping noise. Are there otions that do not have the flapping panel? We are open to non french door as well.

I really do not want to spend much more than this but other options I have found are a good deal more.

We remodeled our kitchen with an integrated subzero and our microwave in a pantry. Many of my friends could not find our fridge when they came to our house. I have a hysterical friend, who happens to be quite low-income. She said, "I don't understand damn rich people. Why do you always hide appliances? In my neighborhood if you can afford a new microwave you don't hide that in a closet, you put it out so the whole neighborhood can see it!!!" I thought that was hilarious.

You are not getting integrated anything at that budget. Start at 2x that, plus the expert labor and cabinet panel for another 3-5K for that. SZ sets the standard because it invented that category and owns it outright.

@Lomo - I purchased at $10k subzero for a $100k kitchen. My other appliances were no where nearly as expensive.

I don't know the entire market, but I do suspect that you will not find what you are looking for in that price range. And I'm with your husband on the french door flap!

- Including 3/4" panels, the refrigerator is 25-1/2 or 25" deep installed, like kitchen cabinets.
- The custom panels can match those of kitchen cabinets.
- It has a toekick like kitchen cabinets.
- One can select door hardware to match those on kitchen cabinets.
I guess that's not "integrated" enough.

Sure, it is not fully-integrated like a Subzero, but is also less than half the cost. So maybe for less money you get a look that is 75% there. Not everyone can or wants to spend $10k on a fridge.

I often wonder what makes a kitchen like this so appealing…and whether people choose these options really do much cooking …in these ultra sleek/modern kitchens?..where everything is in a drawer or behind a door..
