Instead of lower attachment screw , if the bottom edge of handle is centered to the lower shaker frame, it would look better.

My pulls are placed higher on the door; which I thinks looks better.

A bit late now to ask you already drilled the hole how would you fix that .

Thanks for the comments. In response to "already drilled the hole how would you fix that" - I installed the pull that I pictured on a small medicine cabinet at the back of my house. Mostly because there seems to be no real hard and fast rule as to where to put it and I wanted to just try one to see how I liked it. Luckily for me the other 66 pulls that will be installed in my kitchen, bathrooms, etc. all have yet to be installed. So yes, there is still time to make a solid decision. But thanks for your concern.

Get some Alcolin Quake Putty (you can buy on Am@zon) and you can use it to stick up the pulls knobs so you can step back and look from across the room. I also use the putty to stick sample tiles on walls, wallpaper samples, etc.

Some people make "pulls" out of aluminum foil to judge size and position.

Honestly, a lot of folks do well with blue painter's tape -- cut to the right length and try at various positions. There are no hard and fast rules, but yes, Shaker cabinets seem to ask for some kind of relationship between pull and bottom stile.
