What is on wall at foot of bed? Is there space for a dresser there? A longer dresser would be good where the Target drawer storage is but any dresser will likely be taller & cover the window sill. So, I would look at a tall dresser piece - more storage than what you currently have, multiple configurations of drawers / shelves available. A taller piece will also have a smaller footprint so it won’t block the window or the entry door to room swing. And, you’d still have the corner open for those clothing baskets. Maybe try looking at good resale / antique stores for an interesting piece rather than buy new. Sometimes those older pieces are quite pretty & have unique storage set ups.
