what do i use for 4" furnace flue pipe?

A chip of metal fell into the inducer. It is pretty obvious from the picture what happened. I thought I would replace the crappy pipes. Then I started reading about how you should never use 30 gauge metal for the flue. I live in New Mexico and codes may or may not allow it. I have another newer house, 2 years old, and it seems to have a very similar setup for a flue on the water heater. The furnace in question is from 1992 when the house was built. I've been able to locate 26 gauge 4" galvanized elbows. But I can't seem to find anything but 30 gauge pipe. The furnace is in a garage "closet". It seems like this was professionally installed. The pipes go into a double wall pipe where I disconnected them. And through a third pipe where it goes through the roof. Next to the furnace is a water heater with a 3" flue and is basically the same stuff. Is it okay to use the 30 gauge pipe that seems to be available? I returned the 30 gauge elbows because they seem to have the most failure. Thanks!

The problem is that I can find 26 gauge pipe, but most of it at Home Depot, etc is 24 inches. Both of the pieces that I need are longer than 24 inches and shorter than 36 inches. I suppose I can patch pieces together. I can order 24 inches at Home Depot and get 4 and piece them together, I guess. Or I can order 60 inch length from Graniger, but it comes in a pack of 5.

I've been using google to search and I'm as good as anyone at it. Supplyhouse is out of stock until the end of the month and it's getting cold now. What's wrong with the 4 in. x 5 ft. Round Metal Duct Pipe at Home Depot is that it is 30 guage...

The Home Depot website sucks, it's awful and seldom helpful.

But thanks for helping. I'm going to order this from Grainger; Rigid Ducts: Steel, For 4 in Dia, 60 in Lg, 26 ga Material Thick It's $90 for 5 pieces, but the right stuff. I'll have a lifetime supply and still save $900 over the friendly heating companies.

The desired pipe is 26 gauge. The undesired pipe is 30 gauge.
