Hello, I recently purchased a small ranch style home. The layout is strange. Guests enter into a living/ sitting room area with fireplace. The entire house is 1,000 square feet. I'm wondering if it's possible to make this area into a combo living/ dining room? Or just a sitting room with a focus on the fire place? Would a sectional fit? There is another room beyond the kitchen which I think I'll plan to use for TV. I don't love the idea of walking into the side of a couch. How can I give it more of a welcoming vibe with set up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for style, comfort and function! (these are photos from the listing---not my furniture)
