Crack between the porch slab and the wall is very common as the lack of compaction in the fill adjacent to the home will cause that to shift.

The crack above the window (i.e. brick wall) is more troublesome as that brick wall should be on the brick ledge and tied to the foundation wall/footer.

You need a foundation specialist.

The first photo indicates that all of the brickwork is not original to the house.

Note the cut bricks, the differing grout colors and slight color difference in the brick.

Also note the brick ledge anomaly in the last photo. Indications of changes. Maybe the house was added onto or the original house was part brick and part another type of siding and that brick replaced that old siding.

And, parts of Louisiana has expansive clay soil which is the devil as far as foundations are concerned. So the type of soil could explain most or all of the problems.

Why do you think the brick work isn't original? Last picture is only indicative of staining on the left side. Grout color is from them attempting to touch up the cracks.

You're right. The first picture didn't come up when I first had the thread open. Definitely was someone that didn't know how to do brick work here. That is a poor example of a wall opening modification.
