The first thing i can tell you, for sure - is that you are taking up valuable real estate with the tv on that wall. It's basically the only wall in the room, and you have the tv on it.

Can you show a pic of the actual fireplace? Can the tv go over the fireplace? You could use a drop down mount. Or a ceiling mount. Both would lower the TV, as well as angle it.

So in conclusion - I would suggest a sofa on the wall and two swivel chairs. Placement along these lines - except, swivel chairs.
