The flooring you selected is perfect!! I don't see any reason to change out the tile around the fireplace. The gray is perfect & complements your new flooring. Why spend money you don't need to?

On my monitor, the paint color looks great with the floor. What your issue? We've addressed this before. Paint or stain the beam and your done. Although IMO all of your wall decor is too small in scale for the volume of this room.

If you are anxious to spend money, try selecting larger, more textured wall decor.

BeverlBeverly thanks for ur feedback i know i am probably overthinking this. i am stuggling my gallery kitchen too because i dont want white cabinets. i like the contrast of the current beam so i guess that is why i am hesitating on the white beam too and harder to get a painter with scaffling to come just for beam. i appreciate ur input thanks

You can address that beam with a 12 ft ladder. You can rent those.

Sammie beam yes . Floor colors that may work in this space with edgecomb gray walls no i have just been considering the one driftwood color flooring but open to suggestions on flooring.

The flooring you pictured will look great with your color tones. I'd get them in, and then re-evaluate how you feel about the beam.
