We have a king sized bed and 2 dogs on a farm. Between their fur and the mud they track into the house, everything needs to be easily washable. Because of this, I have a large thin single layer arcylic furry blanket that I picked up at costco several years ago. It goes on top of our duvet cover which makes pulling it off and washing it when we wash the sheets easy. Much easier than taking the duvet cover off, washing, dealing with it wrapping itself into a ball in the dryer, untangling, and redrying before fighting it to get it back on the duvet. We also have a quilted bedspread which is fine but it takes ages to dry, and I really don't need this particular piece of bedding to be warm, I only need it to collect dog hair and mud and be easy to wash and dry.

The acrylic furry blanket is fantastic at doing this, but I really don't care for the color, and the material looks really cheap. I would love to buy something made of natural materials and/or with more texture, but I'm just not sure what the name of the product is I'm looking for?
