How does one make an elegant transition from rubber to ceramic tile base in a long corridor where flooring changes as well? Can a Schluter transition profile go on a wall as well?

The flooring changes in the middle of a hallway? I guess I'd pick the white baseboard and use it for both. Does it have to be rubber -- is this an office?

Thank you so much for responding! It's a commercial building, multifamily housing. The corridor transitions to open space meeting all the elements so it needs to transition from carpet to concrete flooring, so the bases also have to change.
