First, what going on with the paint color? Your photo shows as if the window wall is recessed. Also, is the top of the cabinet impinging on window wall?

The front entry is in this space? What about the rest of that area?

It’s primed and being painted now. The window wall is not recessed. Yes my clueless kitchen designer put a pantry there that spills over into the living area, and didn’t show me that in the designs. To the right is the front entry door. I’ll post more.

I think you need to work on that pantry overhang before worrying about curtains.

No! The designer never showed me all of the elevations especially not that pantry. I’d never have approved it. Beware “5 star reviews” here and elsewhere. Apparently not reliable.

I would use the height of the entry wall, which might be the same as the kitchen ceiling but looks lower in the picture.

I'm so glad. My render is supposed to show the molding of the pantry slightly higher than the rod and fabric. Measure the flat side of the pantry and compare to the opposite wall and tweak the height so it looks cohesive.

The space between the drapery fabric and the wall equals the space between the fabric and the side of the pantry.
