it's a weird, weird world

Well, it's November 8, and Holy Mole is putting out a scape. I kept looking and Risky Business is putting out a scape, too. I said back in September that I didn't have one hosta that was looking good. Like Paula, my hosta think it's Spring. Both the newly (in spring '23) reworked and repotted So Sweets put out a whole new pot of hosta, as did Captain Kirk, Holy Mole, Elegans and Royal Standard.

We had an almost freeze about a week ago, but it's been warm ever since.

I can't help but wonder what next spring will bring.

I have to agree it has been an odd summer. I think I just may not even have a dormant season. This is the first year I have put them into the shade greenhouse, and they loved it. Maybe some too much. Maybe it was the blue paint.

This is Guacamole. She has her own Tree and her own palm tree. She has no plans on going down. I have other plants that need to move back in, and I will have the hostas out by Thanksgiving. Like it or not. I have been wondering what is going to grow next year ................ too.
