Hi, I have designed my new entry door steps and due to drains(manhole) outside our door, I have come up with a compromise steps - in front of main door (other ‘slave’ door is locked 99% of the time). I am now questioning if i had thought it through well enough and if i should extend it, in which case i need to take land drainage (rainwater) into account properly (the land is on a very gentle slope, parallel to the house, parallel to the steps and when it rains it is like a river outside our home due to hardstanding in the terrace we are part of - we are at the bottom, lower down) . Could you please
