In the picture you can hardly see a difference due to the lighting. Suggest adding different sets on the two windows and as the light changes during the day and with lights on at night, you’ll be better able to decide.

Either shade will be fine but to enhance their look, which I think is more important than the shade, would be to raise the rods if interested/able.
