Sectional are very hard to place. They take up most of the space in a room. Would suggest you sell it and buy a sofa and chairs.

Sadly its brand new so selling isnt an option

I should mention its a living / dining room. across is the dining table. I had it switched but with the sloped ceiling it was not conducive for eating.

Please supply a floor plan, measured to the inch. How can we know where to suggest furniture location if we only see one side of the space?

It is not customary. You can use a console, however, your set up with speakers on stands is already occupying space. It would look awkward and overcrowded. It will also make vacuuming more difficult.

I agree on the speakers. lost the battle on those by the hubby. I appreciate your feedback

Do you need a console for something?

Would a floor lamp work? Maybe a small table at the end of the sectional?

Or if you do need a console, maybe there could be a compromise and the speaker could live at the end of it? And pretty things could live in front and block it from the view? (I have also lost speaker battles.)

You just need a narrow end table with a lamp.
