I have an oddly placed light in my guest bedroom. I looked into moving it and an electrician said they’d have to tear out a portion of the ceiling and still might not have the access they really need (there’s no real attic access and the ceiling/roof angle complicates things). So it seems I’m stuck working around the placement.

Right now there’s a sconce there but it seems weird because it’s over the side of the bed. I considered some sort of hanging light, but I’m worried the wires will seem messy? Moving the bed isn’t a great option because any other layout leaves unusable space/no room for a side table. Any suggestions? I’m including pictures of the room (excuse the mess, we just started priming the walls), an example of the kind of light I was maybe considering (not necessarily that exact one, just something similar), and a rough sketch of the normal layout.
