Debra, I like your seedlings better than the registered daylilies you posted.

This is easy for me, not my favorite category, I have one toothy dayliliy, Buzz Saw.

Through Dark Waters shows some teeth occasionally…….its probably a stretch to call it toothy.

Celeste - I had no idea you grew so many toothy cultivars. Something in My Teeth is my favorite. You have some really nice toothy seedlings too!

Wow! This is my kind of post. There are so many I like that I can't begin to comment. I will say, Debra, that you have some beautiful purple teeth daylilies.

Bear Paw has both stippling and teeth.

Bengal Teeth has a few teeth.

Buddy's Pinkie is one of the few narrow-petaled toothy daylilies that we grow.

Deadliest Catch is a late bloomer. It has also been a good breeder for us.

Fox Lake Fantasy was hybridized by a friend in Indianapolis.

Fruitful Discovery is one of my favorite purples.

Glowing Quasar is similar in color to Bass Gibson, but with taller scapes.

I think I posted Heavenly Christmas Cactus this year. It has just been wonderful the past couple of years.

Irish Vampire Fangs is too pale for me.

It would be nice if I pulled the weeds and dead flowers before I photograph a flower. This is Princess of Alexandria.

Lemon Fringed Pastel, like Princess of Alexandria, is another Klehm.

This is Lincoln Andrea. I used to post this as Lincoln Andres. I noticed that the hybridizer had it on his website as Lincoln Andrea. Apparently, the database was in error and now it's been corrected.

Lions and Tigers and Bears has always disappointed me because the color is our garden is faded compared to the database photo. It is a good grower though. I think I should move it and see what it does elsewhere.

Nan - Thanks for the comment on the purple toothy seedlings! You have so many nice ones. My favorites are Fruitful Discovery, Tramps Like Us and Princess of Alexandria.

Celeste and David - Rip Saw was darker in color this year because the first two weeks of the season were unusually cool here. Usually I have heat in the 90s, and it's pretty bleached out. It will not set seed for me, although I have been successful using its pollen.

Gaudeamus looks wonderful. It has been on my list for several years now. I have been trying to find a grower who sells it, but not much luck. So I gave up, but seeing that picture, I am back on the hunt.

David, Brent Ross (Cottage Gardens) has it for just $35 which is a steal. The new price list for 2024 hasn't been posted yet but he gave me a 'sneak peek' so I just looked it up for you. I love mine so much because it is always toothy and not all of them are consistently toothy here.
