I went to check these tubs out pricing is hard to find but IMO 6K for tub is out of my reach for sure and not sure I would like a matte finish on a tub. I guess if money is no object they seem interesting. The fact they come only in one color could be an issue but nothing screams no to me. I happen to love my acrylic tub easy to celan , looks awesome 18 yr later (was installed before we bought the house) I love Maax tubs use them often for clients and they all love them and decently priced. I do however never tell clients to choose free standing tubs IMO hard to get in and out of and require a huge space to look right

That is their private label name for a Corian duplicate, since Corian is no longer under patent. Avonite just copied their recipe, and gave it their own name, and MTI is thermoforming it. It is tougher than a standard acrylic, and easier to refinish if you scratch it. But you can look around and there are others doing the same thing.

Nice to hear your feedback on Maax tubs. My contractor recommended Jacuzzi which I will probably go with, but in looking online and reading reviews I saw Maax come up and had no familiarity with it. I may revisit. I am looking for a slightly different appearance and of course, lower $ without sacrificing quality. (the search for a unicorn I know)
