Home Decorating Lighting Design Dilemma

Lighting Fixture Help

I need to choose 5 overhead lights in my apartment and am planning to choose the same light for each room, I think. The question is about which of these two lights will give off the most light. Or, if someone has a suggestion of another option, I am all ears.

We bought the larger lights mentioned below but with only 8 ceilings, these larger lights looked like giant flying saucers, so I returned them. One of the rooms has ceilings that are 10'9", so that room might be able to support the larger light without looking crazy. Two of the rooms are about 9' x 12' (one of them has the 10'9" ceiling), two of the rooms are more like 10' x 10', and one of the rooms is more like 5' x 10'.

These are the lights:

This light is smaller, but takes two 100-watt bulbs: https://www.amazon.com/Possini-Euro-Brushed-Nickel-Ceiling/dp/B0000DI23P/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1E2ZQKC6865MR&keywords=Possini%2BEuro%2BDeco%2B12%2B3%2F4%22%2BWide%2BBlack%2BCeiling%2BLight&qid=1701992472&sprefix=possini%2Beuro%2Bdeco%2B12%2B3%2F4%2Bwide%2Bblack%2Bceiling%2Blight%2Caps%2C200&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.17d9e15d-4e43-4581-b373-0e5c1a776d5d&th=1

This light is larger in size, but takes three 60-watt bulbs: https://www.amazon.com/Possini-Euro-Brushed-Nickel-Ceiling/dp/B00019ONR6/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1E2ZQKC6865MR&keywords=Possini%2BEuro%2BDeco%2B12%2B3%2F4%22%2BWide%2BBlack%2BCeiling%2BLight&qid=1701992472&sprefix=possini%2Beuro%2Bdeco%2B12%2B3%2F4%2Bwide%2Bblack%2Bceiling%2Blight%2Caps%2C200&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.17d9e15d-4e43-4581-b373-0e5c1a776d5d&th=1

So, the smaller light has a larger wattage, which is interesting.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Much appreciated.

First choose LEDs if good lighting is the aim. I usually like ones you can change th bulb but the newer integrated ones seem to be pretty good I have this one in my bedroom and it is awesome foe overall light but you have to remeber ceiling lights are only one level of lighting in a space you still need table lamps maybe amix of table and floor lamps .

Bulbs are not included with the fixtures. You choose your own LED bulbs to put in.

The style of these fixtures could be considered Deco, Modern or Contemporary. Is that going to be the style of your furnishings? A fixture that's a good fit for a kichen might not be the best choice for a hallway or bedroom.

You'll be installing LED bulbs so a 100 watt bulb is only going to be 16-20 watts

My question is: why would you want to choose the same fixture for every room? They can be different and part of each room's individual decor.
