Hello! I'm hoping you can help me make some decisions on window coverings.

The Family Room has 2 really big sliders (12'w x 10' tall). I like the idea of panels to add a little color/warmth to the room. My husband likes valances so they're not in the way. Note: That room will also have an area rug (probably an 8'6" square in the color of the remnant in the picture).

I kind of agree with my husband on a valance in the piano room since we use the left side slider all the time. But I still like the look of panels more.

Totally undecided in the bedroom. Both the slider and the curved window will have shades, but not sure on panels/valances.

Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated!!
