Yes put color on the walls. The current one make it look like a rental.

With the flooring I like greens and some orange reds.

The hallway is a beige. I normally lean more towards greens and blues.

White walls in a satin finish and white shower curtain with brushed nickel rod and hooks.

Bring the dark tones of the floor up onto the wall using art. Hang facing the door.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are ideal for adding some wall color. Those same colors can be brought into the common areas in smaller doses.

I do like the idea of a white and adding art. I will be putting a long towel bar on the the big wall where the gold frame is. Would a large piece of art still look ok there?

I'm not opposed to adding color but I think the most appealing option right now is a shade of white with a bolder piece of artwork. I also plan to add an espresso wall cabinet above the toilet to hold towels in place of the one there now.

If you go white, please make sure you have color in your art, and in your accessories, like towels, etc. Right now, its a very boring uninviting room. I like the idea of one of the greens, pictured up above, or even a pretty pale blue.

The blues and reds Jennifer showed do NOT clash with the floor. They complement one another.
