My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Well, I need to get busy…

I have a coworker who is pregnant, due in May. Last weekend I started a baby quilt for her. It’s Cross Hatch, one of Jordan Fabrics’ free patterns, pretty easy piecing to make modified snowball blocks.

This afternoon I was chatting with her, asking how she’s feeling. (A few weeks ago she ended up in the hospital due to severe morning sickness, to the point where she couldn’t even keep water down.)

She’s doing much better now, and told me part of the reason she was so sick is that she’s having twins!

Off to Jordan Fabrics’ site to find a second pattern….
