There is no conversion kit, besides what would it look like as drywall and plywood are both panel products? The wording you refer to is lawyer'eze to limit their liability when you do something really stupid, like lowering an engine or transmission out of a vehicle. Plywood panels are no where near 150# each so just put them on the lift and raise them up.

Oh wow! So you are telling me they would limit the labeled use but I could still use it the same exact way to help install another product of a different material but essentially the same weight and dimension? I was really hoping to find an adapter of some kind. Ok, so I'm having a little fun....very good response but don't take me overly seriously here.

I haven't looked it up, but I doubt 1/2" plywood weighs as much as 1/2" drywall. I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't lift 1/2" Corian or porcelain.

Y'all are very right in your responses of course...thank you for the responses but I really am completely tongue-in-cheek here. I hoped for more sarcasm or maybe someone would find me a plywood adapter out there somewhere.

LOL! I know. It's tough trying to answer helpfully sometimes.....but some of us wouldn't be asking questions if we were experts! I used to use the citrus part of this forum a lot when I was in a warmer part of the state.....and I started out pretty wet behind the ears.

Guess I'll have to get one of the green lifts....or plunk down the dollars to get some paint.

1/2 drywall is about 51 lb and 1/2" plywood is about 40 lb some guys used lifts to install 5/8 drywall in garages on ceilings that weigh about 70 lb without any issues.
