My sewing plan is to make more "I Spy" quilts for donation.

My overall plan is to clean out a lot of the "stuff" in my house. I don't "do" lots of those things (like genealogy, sewing machine repair, and flower arrangements for the family cemetery) anymore, but I still have all the "stuff" to do it with.

I’ll be cleaning out my sewing room, too, in preparation for moving soon (probably late March/early April). We are actually cleaning out the whole house. Mostly done, just have the kitchen, sewing room and garage which doubles as hubby’s woodworking space.

Yes, let’s get back to sewing! it was not a good Christmas week for us here. sickness cancelled all family get togethers, some sickness for them and also for me. better now.

but yes, I must get back to the machine.

last year, I followed Karen Brown’s declutter challenge and did quite well. she has started a new one so I plan to jump on board with that and at least try to keep things relatively decluttered.

I do hope this new year is a good one for all.

Get back to sewing for sure! Last year was not a good year for so many reasons, but this will be better.

I worked on cleaning up my sewing room because DH is having a birthday party for me on Saturday and we need the room for the kiddos coming to watch a movie in. On Sunday, it is full speed ahead putting it back to sewing and get going!

I have a dinosaur quilt top finished and sandwiched and started the quilting - baby is due on the 7th, so it will be late.

I have a Japanese fan quilt top ready to sandwich and quilt - it's a commissioned quilt so need to get it finished!

I need to make another baby quilt for friend's granddaughter due in March.

After that - need to work on using up some of the scraps I have. (boxes and boxes of!)

Looking forward to a new year with a lot less stress!

This will be a New Years to remember. I flew to Denver and crashed my son's NYeve party at a hotel because he was celebrating his 50th birthday. Wonderful event and walking in to surprise him made up for all the effort to get us there at the last minute. Will never forget it. I should stay up to midnight more often.
