The Christmas tree is coming down today and I'm making soup with the ham bone from yesterday's dinner. I didn't receive any garden related gifts which is probably for the best because I haven't figured out what I want to do with the landscaping at the new house yet. Happy New Year to all!

The holidays brought covid to my family, first time for hubby and me. So my Christmas trees and decor are still up at my house, and I usually start dismantling on Dec 26 (my first day of symptoms).

I’m very ready to get Christmas finally tucked away and am looking forward to a healthier new year!

Survived the Xmas onslaught (dog stole the ham), sent in seed orders and posted a coupla envelopes of seeds...weeks later than promised but still, can face the New Year guilt-free - although the xmas stress threw my cigarette abstinence out of the window. Back on it now (austerity). Hoping everyone gets to have a great year, with joys and triumphs and enough chaos to keep it interesting.

And bloody hell, just tested postive for Covid - (feeling grim)
