I have a few E's but unfortunately, only one picture of an E hosta. I loved the way my Elegans looked when it unfurled. But before I could take a photo, a cutworm got to it and Elegans was "holey" for the rest of the season. Darn.

Elegans, a lovely plant. We had such a hot, dry summer. My blues turned green by May and were a bit scorched by August. They went dormant early. Fingers crossed for this year, but expecting setback to less mature, smaller plants

Yes, old_dirt I believe it. I've been fighting bacterial leaf rot on my 8-year-old Earth Angel and it is hanging in there. Maybe a sunnier spot would do it well.
