Designing space surrounding fireplace

I need help deciding what will should go on either side of my fireplace.

The full wall is 20 feet. The fireplace will be 7 feet, so we will have 6.5 feet on either side to work with. The plans are drawn with transom windows up top and built-ins below, but I dislike transom windows so I want them out if I can. I can scrap the window altogether, but we’re blocking most of the light coming from the front of the house (left of pictures) and I’m trying to sneak in natural light where I can. If we put windows, they will face the side of our neighbors house so it won’t be much light but it will be something.

I’ve attached a few options.

  1. Arched built-ins. I love the look, but wonder if it’s too much. Plus, no window.
  2. Large windows with cabinet below. Gives us the window but little space to family photos, other decor.
  3. Small window with open shelves and cabinet below. This looks off to me with the window feeling recessed compared to the shelves and window.
  4. Floor to ceiling cabinet that minimizes the space.

Thoughts or other suggestions?
