Can you paint the walls? Are you talking about changing furniture? How much do you want to spend?

I have never had a desk between me and my therapist. You want to be available to your client in a chair that faces the client/s. If the desk has to stay then I'd have it face the side wall.

I don't know what kind of therapy you are discussing, but I don't get the farm/beach theme idea. What about more of a calming, olive green tone?

Those 2 themes are not working together in my head . What kind of therapy ? Why are you in a space with no windows at all. The space is tiny what do you have to have in there ?Do you nned a desk or would just some nice seating work/ Is this in your home or in a rented office spac e? We need a ton more info to even begin to help.

Color is funny. Olive green fights with my complexion. I actually look ill in an olive green space and my energy and sense of well being is drained. So many people here recommend it in some form for paint and curtains and furnishings that the color must make most people happy.

Look up "Costal Farmhouse". Is that what you mean?

Do you need a desk? Do you need two patient chairs? I would hate to have my back facing the door ... if you can rethink the type of furniture, it might be more comfortable for you and patients. Please post room dimensions, and furniture needs.

Hi everyone. i am a nurse practitioner who also gives therapy. this was the room i was provided as i dont have much of a say or choice… this is in an office space at work. i would need a desk as i need to chart. if anyone has different themes please let me know. i like the farmhouse or a coastal vibe; however it needs to be calming for my patients… again thanks so much for all your help. ANY ideas would be so helpful

i would need two patient chairs/ desk is a must…

With the desk against the wall, you can place to monitor on the corner closest to the chairs. Patients then only see the backside of the monitor.
Use a color you feel comfortable in and art work that brings you joy and peace. (I once worked in a counseling office with no window.)

You didn't say what sort of 'therapy'. The clinic I go to has tiny 'desk' area no legs/flat surface jutting from a wall for charting, in its exam rooms. Which do you do more, 'therapy' or charting? It's curious you get to redecorate to the extent it would take to go "coastal farmhouse"
