So the old cahirs got dirty how is that not going to happen with the new ones with thta light colored fabric on the seats . Waht not look at something in a color in leater or some facric not so light colored to show all the mess. I think something like this a the color even would be nice it is leather wipes off .

Down the road it looks like an easy process to remove the seat and replace fabric. I used to do that when we had a formal dining room and wanted a new look for the chairs. Also, I would keep handy the cleaning instructions, no clue how to spot clean the current chairs and we’ve had them for quite some time (actually I’m surprised they stayed decent looking for this long), and I’ve tried several different cleaning methods to no avail . Leather would be the easiest but I’ve not seen anything i care for. I thank you both for your feedback. Of course my husband’s chair could always be covered in plastic!

Can the back/top of that woven chair be cleaned? The minimum is that you should be able to wipe with a damp cloth or let some types of things dry on it and then remove with a stiff brush.

I used to have a sisal rug under a breakfast table (came with the house so I used it) and quickly learned some tricks to getting it cleaned. If you dropped brownie crumbs on it, you didn't try to clean it, just let the crumbs dry up and then vacuum!

I was only able to take a Quick Look and sit on it but I would imagine it would be easy to clean. I’ve had a sisal rug for a number of years and have found easy to maintain. I no longer have to worry about crumbs since our pup takes care of those although he also likes chewing on the rug. Once he’s done with his chewing I’m guessing I’ll be in the market for a new rug as well
