The Elkay is so much nicer that they aren't comparable. I doubt there is any longevity issues unless the Kohler is a 20 gauge. Are you replacing your countertops and/or cabinets with the sink?

A full kitchen remodel. thanks for the recommendation. elkay is just lesser known than kohler

I had this sink installed about a year ago during a kitchen remodel. The quality is great, but I do wipe down the small ledges where the accessories sit every time I use the sink, which is something I didn’t think about being necessary when I selected it. Good luck with your remodel.
