Good luck! We ran into the same issue a couple of years ago and ended up keeping our almond, round seat, 24" depth, 1985 Kohler toilet for the same reason...couldn't find a replacement! I don't understand why toilet companies don't allow you to custom build your own toilet since most are two pieces. Ugh...very frustrating!

Honestly, if this is just a powder room -- meaning you don't have to match a tub or shower -- I'd just get white. Depending on your vanity, you might be able to replace the sink with white, or just wait until you want to make further updates. Life is too short to be enslaved by biscuit!

Hagagagag . A half bath, no vanity and a pedestal sink. Currently in use as a place for the litter box of the 4 kittens and mother cat we are fostering for our local SPCA.

How deep is your room ?

Maybe the lighting is off but it looks to me like the toilet is almond and the sink is white, so what is wrong with changing to toilet to white so it will open up more options?

Room is 4 deep and 5 wide. Sink is almond. Just may end up getting the shortest depth toilet i can find that also meets the other criteria.

I understand the need for a higher toilet for the main users in the house but for guests why bother since the color is what is driving the bus that is the problem . BTW when posting a picture remove the litter box and there is nothing grosser than a rug in front of a toilet .IMO leavi it alone until you can fix all the things wrong about the space

No kids in this house to pee on rug. I can also think of several other things that are much grosser than the rug. Litter box adds context. Also, there is nothing ”wrong” with the space itself. If you mean the size of the room, it is not expandable. The house has been gifted to two sons with a life estate for my wife and I so we will let them worry about having chair height toilets in all 3 rooms. ( Just as an aside, we junked our bath tub in MB so we are a house without a tub.)

Just a comment. In terms of comfort, elongated IMO is much more comfortable & as for the taller height, why do you suppose they're now selling these Squatty Potty contraptions?

Because once you raise the height of the toilet, the height no longer places you in the best position for using the toilet so then an additional device is required to raise your legs. It's just stupid.

Better to install an attractive grab bar to assist in standing.

Chair height toilets are smart, even for guests, if you have anyone older or old-ish in your house, even as a guest. We are going to change ours sometime this year. I'd get the perfect sized elongated toilet, in white, and swap out your sink for a white one too.

Kitty litter grossed me out until I read that you are rescuing kittens. Thanks for doing that. A lot of work, I'm sure.

A Chair Height toilet doesn't eliminate the need for a grab bar

If you do an in-wall toilet tank and hang a bowl on the wall then you would have to remove your tile on the wll in that spot to place the tank... and also replace the tile on the floor. It would make the bathroom seem huge though.
