Dark pink roses

This one is a little bit hard to sort out as they start to bleed into the purples and blue reds but that’s okay…we all just want to look at a bunch of flowers anyway, right?

It took FOREVER for Laguna to shine but shine she does now.

Young Lycidas had some health issues at the beginning of the season so I cut a lot out but the blooms are always flawless

Deja Blu is one I don’t see a lot about here. Unfortunately I don’t have a ton of info other than to say it came as a very small band and it is battling a layer of japanese maple and viburnum roots and it hasn’t died. Poor thing gets about three hours of sun but is still pretty blackspot free.

I was pretty stumped as to what color category this should go to but I think dark pink fits the closest

Kristine I have Sweet Chariot coming in the spring. I have read it’s a good candidate for a hanging basket so that’s what I’m gonna try. What do you think?

Sweet Chariot is my most prolific mini. I plant it behind a cement retaining wall to create a hanging basket effect. It does get blackspots but it leaves out quickly.

I hope Erasmus Post pictures of her beautiful beautiful parade. I couldn't find pictures of mine from past years. Beautiful dark pink!

Yep, that will look perfect in a hanging basket. So excited!!

Why thank you, Vaporvac! Here's my Parade. I planted a Margaret Hunt clematis near it a week or two ago. Hope they will get along. I think Cactus Joe has a great picture of it on hmf. He inspired me to get one.

Leonardo da Vinci...this one really has better bs resistance in full sun. I used to have a plant of it in part shade and gave it away due to bs proneness. In my friend's garden it did great so I took a cutting and planted a plant in a sunnier spot where it does well.

Leonardo breaks my heart every time with its lack of fragrance….such a beautiful rose

Forever_a_newbie, that lavender rose is a well faded ENCHANTED EVENING.

Kristine, I got Rosemantic Fuschia because of your great reviews of its fragrance. Also it’s not supposed to get super big so I placed it under our bedroom window. Figure it will be perfect for warm summer days-I can collapse in bed, smell the roses and eat bonbons🤣

Oh, for everyone that likes a perfect bloom that is another reason to consider this rose. Every single bloom was exquisitely formed.

    Loving all these pics!

Dark Desire starts thr season as a deep pink before settling into a deep red ehen the heat arrives.

I don’t see Purple Rain mention much. It’s possible people are disappointed when it blooms pink instead if purple, but it is a great little rose.

These are my 2 deep pink roses. The HT, Hot Princess and the Miniflora, Show Time.
