Hello, i have a cape style house(which is longer than it is wide) im about to put in new LVP all throughout. A liitle back story, a couple years ago, we peacemealed flooring (i know terrible). It was a laminate and i ended up hating the color and it got water damage so fast. I also for some reason decided to lay in two different directions because i likwd better sofferent ways on wach side of the house(living room and dining room whicb are connected looked better vertical and kitchen and playroom looked better horizontal 🥴 And we mever finished the project. This time ive done my research amd found Lvp in a more natural look and we are laying it in same direction all trhoughout. im just terrible at making decisions and need advice on which doeection to lay. Common sense is probably telling me that it should be laid the vertical way to go with the length of the house, but im not quire a fan of the hallway rectangular look and wonder if the layout would look wider if it was laid horizontal. What are some opinions? here are pics of both. Ill post kitchen and living room and might have a dining room shot(even though i know its hard to get a full scope of the whole look with limited pics.
