How do the other rooms relate to your living room? Do you see one room from the other? Bedrooms, can be any color you want them, but, rooms that flow together, should look good together. I dont know how much you have replaced in your living room, but, most of the furniture and the rug, definitely do not go with gray. I think, you already figured out that the gray isnt right, and thats why you were asking about white, but, you would still have the gray that doesnt go with anything on the other walls, so painting one wall white, isnt the answer.

Nice looking sofa. I think you have blocked out your art, but I wonder if the right combo of art, pillows and accessories might make the current color work fine. These have beige and gray combined, tho it's the sofa that's gray and the wall that's beige.

Painting one wall white would not work. As another poster pointed out, if the grey doesn’t work (and I agree it doesn’t) then it won’t work having it elsewhere in the room.

I like the original paint color with your sofa and agree with olychick that you need accessories that have both colors in them to tie things together. But if you no longer like the wall color then paint all the walls white, not just the one.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I don't know how to pull the existing gray together with the brown so I will probably have to paint. I even thought about layering a rug on the jute rug to blend them.

Well, it has lots of different shades of beige and gray. If you love it, can you try it? Also think about pillows, maybe a rug, or other decor pieces. Your lamp looks like it already marries the two color families.

Layering a rug onto your jute rug is a great idea. Here’s one from Ruggable that looks to combine the grey with the beige. The second one might work, as well.

The pours in saddle leather would be nice too.
