Dining room chair

I came across a chair from Article that i really like the look of, low profile and clean lines, non fussy. Of course, i know not the best to order a chair online that you cant test but seems like they have a good return policy. My question, the chair is from Article and given the very afforable price…and, getting what you pay for, I was wondering if anyone has ordered from them, what the quality is like? Thank you in advance

Order one, test it for comfort.

You always get what you pay for, one way or ANOTHER.

My thoughts exactly and think i will order one to try out. I have been hitting furniture stores and surprised by the lack of quality, how many were not comfortable and these were not inexpensive chairs

I'd suggest you Google Lens the image. There are a lot of them out there.

I always like to review ratings and research content, Hope this helps, if you haven’t already. Ordering one is a good idea and will also help to see how well it suits your table.

Maureen, thanks. I did read the reviews which all seemed so positive and given the price for the chairs, seems too good to be true!

Price is not always indicative of quality. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t. There are various factors that go into pricing. Some of it comes down to marketing psychology. And I think this applies to furniture, as well as many other things.

An antiques dealer/antiques store owner in NYC explained this to me, many years ago. I was in his shop, and I spotted a porcelain peacock 🦚. The feathers were Swarovski crystals, and the piece had some high karat of gold details. I don’t remember the maker, but it was a good piece. It was really beautiful. I had it in mind to put it on a mantle. He was selling it for 500 dollars, which was a substantial amount of money at that time. I love peacocks, and I had the money, and I had to have this piece! We were having a nice exchange - great vibe and great conversation, and he was showing me around his shop. He had a couple of floors in the building; he was not far from Madison Square Garden. I think he was on Ave of the Americas, if I remember right. Anyway I was ooh-ing and ah-ing about various things he had in his shop. Some pieces were quite pricey - some of the pieces were in the thousands. And I remember him looking at me at me and saying, “Some people think a thing is more valuable, if it costs more.”

This is true! I tend to ‘love’ and value something more if I get it at a good price. Im not one that get caught up in where a piece of furniture comes from as long as i like it and it feels durable

    I totally agree. :)

But, tbh, I am really glad that I paid 500 dollars and not 50 dollars for the peacock, because I loved it so much, and it was just that valuable to ’Me’; it was a lot of fun. And the time I spent with that shop owner - is priceless.

I'd look online at Arhaus too, unless you are stuck on that chair.

Good customer service, and if a store near you ? Go test drive a bunch

It's a category they've always had good selection, style, and comfort.
