In all honesty, you are probably be the only one who will notice (besides me!) But yes it would bother me. Our contractor told us he worked very hard to get ours symmetric and level.

What reason is he giving for not being able to install them at the same height. Seems like he may just have incorrectly measured and doesn’t want to correct it.

Agree most other people won’t notice but that would drive me crazy. I too wonder why he said no.

I'm pretty sure the tile is the issue. Have you measured from the ceiling to the top of the fixtures? The right hand medicine cabinet cutout required the tile being cut. I am one to notice things like that once, then never notice it again. Blame the tilers if you blame anyone. But really, I get that it should probably match considering the tile, but how often are you going to look up at the bottoms of the light fixtures?
