I’m sure everyone will ask for a floor plan with measurements tof walls, dorrways, windows, fireplaces etc and /or more photos. I think you will also hear a lot of comments to relocate your tv to another wall—it is really too high where it is and it dominates the room, and not in a good way—it is a nice room with a nice fireplace which would greatly improved by moving the tv. The room dimensions will make clearer where everything should go.

I am not a fan of floating shelves and would much prefer matching cabinets/shelves beside the fireplace. You have the perfect place for this, and it could provide some hidden toy storage. Be sure to have some side tables and lamps for ambient lighting.
