master bath remodel

Hi All, could use this community’s help for some master bath design inspiration. Remodel newbie so go easy on me. Here are some general numbers/thoughts and pictures:

  • this is an original builder grade bathroom circa 2007. Looking to freshen up style, color scheme, and maximize space.
  • bathroom dimensions are 9 x 12. shower/tub are on the 9 foot wall. The dual sink vanity runs about 8 feet. We’d like to keep the dual sink format.
  • in pic 2, the door on the left opens to bedroom, door on the right is where the toilet is located. Not pictured is a large walk in closet to the left of pic 2. I don’t intend to do anything with that space, maybe redo the floor to match the new bathroom tile? It is carpeted.
*my wife and I are ok with getting rid of the tub in favor of a larger shower. It rarely gets used and currently takes up a ton of space. Would be open to a smaller one but definitely not a need.
  • I’m hoping to keep the project around $25k (Austin). Is that doable? I’m not handy so to be clear, I’m not capable of doing any part of this myself.

Thanks!!
